Crusader Challenge 1

Anyone still don't know what this is about? Go check out Rach's blog... In the mean time, I am required to post more about me...

In less than 300 words. *Gulp*

  • If I carry my foil loose, I always carry it at my side - a tribute to the Three Musketeers.
  • I am fiercely loyal when it comes to friends.
  • We I turned eighteen, my mother gave me a ring, that was given to her on her eighteenth and was made out of my Grandfather's wedding ring.
  • I tend to tap body-parts and things in my hands.
  • I was twelve the last time I saw my natural hair color.
  • I loved the Three Musketeers since I read it in High School.
And.... Just because: Bloviate, Fuliguline, Rabbit, Blade...

Hahaha how was that for out of the box?

Anyway, I have revealed something about me that isn't strictly true. Can you guess what it is?

  1. I am going to guess hair color since twelve.

  2. Ok, I'm going to hope the hair colour is a lie! Cos 12 is pretty young to change your hair colour forever!

  3. Oh, this is hard!

My guess is you don't actually carry your foil like that.

  4. I am going to guess the foil thing too...

  5. Another tricky one! I'm going to go with the hair color, as well.

  6. Hmmm ... the tapping thing. Coz it's not been picked.

  7. I'm going with number one. Who carries a foil around (unless it's during fencing class?)

  8. I'm guessing tinfoil! Not seeing your natural from age 12 isn't that weird anymore.

  9. Oh, I think I’m going for your hair colour too?

  10. I'm going to say the ring wasn't made out of your grandmere's ring. This is hard.

  11. I guess that you have never actually colored your hair. :)

  12. I agree with the majority. Hair color is the lie.

  13. I'm going with the hair color.

Fellow crusader! Nice to meet you!

  14. I don't know what 'foil' is. Is that an American term? I'm going to go with... hair colour :)

  15. I was going to go with hair colour but then I remembered I did mine when I was 12/13 and haven't had blond hair since... so I don't know. >.<

  16. Hi Misha .. I've come over from Al .. at Publish or Perish in SA - South Australia .. but to you and me it would be South Africa! I used to live in Jhb for 14 years .. and have many friends still there & hanker to get back! But one thing at a time ..

I guess the tapping thing .. if it's true - I might not be back?! Cheers and enjoy today .. Hilary

  17. Haha Joe, nice try, but unfortunately not the right answer.

Nope Rachel, it was more an effort to keep my hair light at first. But I never let my hair darken to its natural color.

Oh Golden, but I do... ;-P

Nice try Danette, but no. Love your name btw. Welcome to my blog. :-)

    Sorry, Wit, but no.

Nice strategy, Gary. Didn't work though. ;-)

Bish, you'd be amazed by where I have worn my foil. I have even chased another fencer around with a sabre in front of our student centre. ^_^

Hahaha Devin, no. The foil is a weapon of singular destruction. ;-P

Nope, Blogs, the hair color is true. :-)

Nice try, L.A. but the ring was made out of my grandfather's wedding band. He had huuuuuge fingers.

Erin that is a nice complement! But yes, my hair is very dyed. :-D

Ahhhh.... Cleveland, sometimes the majority can be wrong. Thanks for dropping by. :-)

Hi there Crusader Alison! Thanks for dropping by. :-)

Sari, Foil is one of the three weapons used in fencing. It is the light-weight stabbing sword. The heavy stabbing sword is epee and the slashing sword is a saber. :-)

Haha Fraeya, I'm glad to see I am not the only one. Still, I was the opposite. I kept my hair light. :-)

Hi Hilary! Pleased to meet you! I used to go to Jhb a lot, but not so much since I moved to Cape Town. When did you move to Aus and - most importantly- what rugby team do you support? ;-P

  18. I will go with the tapping-body parts in your hands being the false statement. Fellow crusader and follower stopping by to face the challenge. :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. I will go with tapping. BTW - I'm not sure what happened. I hit the follow button over a week ago, but it didn't show that I was a follower. I just clicked it again. :)

  20. I'm guessing the ring, because there is a typo in that sentence, and so obviously your fingers knew that they were lying ;)

  21. Hahaha Regina if you say it like that, I sound frightening. :-D Thanks for dropping by!

Ciara, that's alright. I thought you had been following me. But that explains why I couldn't find your link the other day. :-)

Haha Rebecca, there is no typo in that sentence. It was my grandaddy's ring. :-)

  22. I'm thinking you're not as fidgety as you say.

Cool that you have a foil. Did you ever play dungeons and dragons? I did. Some of those kids enjoyed fencing.

  23. Hmmm... the whole thing is a lie! J/K I'll say the tapping yourself.

Nice to meet you crusader. Isn't this fun?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Patricia, I think I might be more fidgety. ;-P I've never played, but I like that some of them liked fencing. :-)

Nice to meet you too, Crusader! I am finding it very interesting to get to know new people. :-)

  25. Hello fellow crusader! I am a tad bit late, so I just thought I would just say Hi! :D

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm guessing you're lying about the hair colour.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I would also have to guess your lie is regarding your hair color. Love the way you used the challenge words!
