About the Book

First, do no harm.” Blake Ryan swore that oath to become a doctor. Ironic, given that he spent most of his thousand year life sucking souls out of other immortals.

Things are different now. Using regular shots of morphine to keep his inner monster at bay, Ryan has led a quiet life since the Second World War. His thrills now come from saving lives, not taking them.

Until a plane crash brings Aleria into his hospital. Her life is vibrant. Crack to predators like him. She’s the exact sort of person they would hunt, and thanks to a severe case of amnesia, she’s all but defenseless.

Leaving Aleria vulnerable isn’t an option, but protecting her means unleashing his own inner monster. Which is a problem, because his inner monster wants her dead most of all.

Coming out on 30 April

An intriguing start - which will win out, the cool doctor or the monster within. . .? Just stopping by to see your A to Z entry and your title caught my eye.

You should really be replying to each and every comment, I think you'd get a bunch of consistant followers. You seem very talented. Replying to comments will make more people want to comment and follow your blog.

I've had websites for a long time, but it wasn't until about 6 months ago when I realized I need to comment back to build a readership.

I'm utterly amused by the sentence about sucking souls out of the immortal. Irony and humor at their best. Nicely done, Misha.

Ooh, I love where this is going. Lots of potential for conflict here.

I could have sworn I commented on this post previously, but perhaps Blogger ate my comment?
