Today is a public holiday, so I decided to be a bit lazy and do a look-back to last month... so here are some stats:
Number of blogs visited (not counting repeat visits): 1020
Number of blogs followed: 690 (the rest I was following before the challenge)
Number of times I triggered Captcha: 4
Number of people who joined this blog: 191
Most blogs visited on one day: 80
Number of awards given: Not sure. I tried counting them, but they're hiding too well. I will have to reread every single comment to find those informing me of awards. Lucky that I find your comments so fascinating.
Post that took the longest to write: M-day (Maps)
Favorite Posts: Maps and Conflict and Complications. Oh and I Interrupt Regular Posting...
Highlight of April: Announcing the completion of my rewrite.
Number of hits in April: 3722.
A to Z Post with most visitors: Energy
Overall, I really enjoyed the challenge. Meeting new people and finding awesome blogs were definitely highlights. Still, I don't think I'm alone when I say that I'm glad that it's May.
So what did you guys think of the A - Z Challenge? Any interesting stats to share? Who finished?
Interesting stats. Glad to heave found your blog thru the challenge.

Hi Misha and thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting. I dearly love this time of the year in North Carolina when the temperatures are just right and I can enjoy time with Rocky outside. I wish you could see him when I say the word "outside". He perks up and you can see the excitement in his eyes. He adds so much to our family. I was really interested when saw your title. I like to read especially works done by people I know. Recently I have downloaded into my Kindle a book by Amber LaShell called Blurred Realities and bought a copy of Listening to the Whispers by Karen Walker, both members of my blog family. I hope to one day have yours as well. Thanks again and I will be tagging along on your journey.
ReplyDeleteOdie :)
I finished! I'd disappointed that I didn't get to visit more blogs. I was off line for a week for surgery. :( I'm going to continue visiting the list over the next month. Great job, Misha. Congratulations on a strong finish. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are impressive statistics Misha, from every aspect. Well-done! And I notice that you are already blog-hopping...
ReplyDeleteI was happy I decided to participate finally, and had just done a reflection on it.

OMG..I'm crazy but not that crazy. Caught a virus in my computer on the day of Y.
ReplyDeleteI didn't check any stats, but yours are impressive! I finally finished today.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the challenge but toward the end I was running out of steam. LOL
No idea on the stats, although several of my posts received way more comments than usual. It was fun!
ReplyDeleteWell, you're beating me in ALL the stats departments! Just checked on blogger and I had 2211 pageviews in April...
ReplyDeleteResolution: I shall be more prepared next year and visit more blogs!
Wow! What an amazing success it was for you! Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteMisha,
ReplyDeleteYour numbers are astounding. I wish I could say I was that successful with the Challenge. Congratulations on a job well done. Count me as a new follower.

Looks you had a fantastic month! Great going. . .will definitely think about jumping into the A-Z challenge the next time around.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I didn't know about the A-Z blog challenge until after it started so I didn't get to do it. It looked fun though. I'll do it when it comes around again :D
ReplyDeleteI'm exhausted just reading your stats!
ReplyDeleteIt was a very rewarding challenge and has definitely opened my world to more great writers and bloggers :)

Congrats on finishing and your award. =)

Hi Misha,
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'm glad that the 'A to Z Blogging Challenge!, is finally over.
I'm just pleased to see folks get back to a more regular routine. Of course, it gave me the inspiration to do a few satire blogs on the whole thing.
And well done on your stats. Me, I couldn't care less about stats. I'm involved with a few very kind bloggers, such as your good self, within a very small community on my very unknown blog and that's fine with me :) Although, I shall give you a stat about me. I visit several blogs and comment on several blogs, almost everyday. This can take many hours and I do my best to be there for others.
Anyway, congrats on completing the 'alphabet challenge' and congrats on your award.
In kindness and acknowledgement of your amazing achievements, Gary :)
Likewise, Mood. :-)

Thanks Lucy! I hope you enjoy what I have to say.
E.C. it was definitely worth it. An interesting experience too. :-)
Book Owl, that is such a pity. I'm glad to hear you want to try it next time though.
Charmaine, I loved meeting all the new bloggers. Hehehe and now I'm spoilt for choice when it comes to my daily blog reads. ;-)
Thanks Tiger. :-D
Good, Gary. It's very important to stay focused on the people more than the numbers. Which is something I do too. Just found it interesting to see the difference the Challenge made. See you around. :-)
Congratulations on finishing, good job!
