GPF is back

I've been thinking about this for a while now, but I think GPF was too much fun to let go of after just one measly year.

So, since this is my blog and you'll love me anyway, I'm doing it again. But this year I'm going to do it a bit differently. I'm going to give themes a whirl.

It will work like this: I'm going to list all of my themes by month and if one grabs your fancy, book the date. I think it's going to be a lot of fun to see what you ladies and gents do with the themes.

And here they are:

January: Beginning
February: Relationships
March: How we write
April: A-Z Challenge (Title must correspond with the assigned letter - To Be Announced)
May: Character
June: Querying and Submission
July: Inspired
August: Challenged
September: Self Publishing and Marketing
October: Scares
November: Keeping track

Basic rules of GPF:

1) Potential posters (unless I invite them) MUST follow my blog. GPF is about giving other writer/book bloggers exposure to my readers, but it's not about getting a quick follower fix.
2) I reserve the right to accept or decline the posts.
3) Posters are requested to respond to comments addressed to them. (Not for all time, but for a few days after the post is put up.)
4) Topics must fall in the writing/lit industry category.

I now declare GPF open. I especially need a kind-hearted/brave guest to step up for next Friday. If you are interested in booking a Friday, please contact me at mishagericke(AT)gmail(DOT)com.

  1. Oh great idea. Might have to put my thoughts together. The theme of Sept might do it if I actually indie publish my first book, as per new years resolutions :)

PS: I now have a author blog too: http://shahwharton.blogspot.com/ X

  4. Hahaha Joshua if you ask nicely, I'll make December available for you. ;-)

Shelly if I'd been as organized as I'm supposed to be, I would have asked for bookings last week. I just couldn't decide what to do until today.
