Putting so much pressure can't be healthy for your health and/or your writing. That's one big reason why I am so careful of setting short term goals. :-)

I must say that I enjoy that aspect as well, Ellie. :-)

Sounds good, Owl. I hope your rewrite goes well. :-)

Cherie, I fell in love with my characters again too, although two of my characters might be disappearing now. But I will see. :-)

Amanda that is so true. It is so much easier to go through the rough spots when I know that I have done this story before. Good luck with your rewrites! :-)

Sounds like you're going to be busy for a while, Bish. Good luck! :-)

Aw shame, Su! I know exactly what you mean. You have my sympathy. :-)Misha Gerrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06364173848456424521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190412120537448720.post-13423076338710302452011-02-02T03:34:29.077+02:002011-02-02T03:34:29.077+02:00Yay, how exciting! As in, there isn't any(oops!). I'm loving being able to come up with new and exciting tweaks and twists and improvements to each scene, but with the knowledge that I've finished it once, so I can finish it again. But hopefully a little faster than the last time. =) Good luck with your rewrites!Amanda the Aspiringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10983953436816551075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190412120537448720.post-55764911984881137772011-02-01T21:43:57.119+02:002011-02-01T21:43:57.119+02:00Welcome to Twitter! ...Welcome to Twitter! I'm @bookworm0753 there.

Good luck with the rewrites. Mine have been going so slow. I've been averaging a chapter a week, instead of the three chapters I hoped for at the beginning of the year. Oh, well. It's getting there, but I completely get what you mean about loving it. I'm falling in love with the story and characters all over again, and it's fun.Cherie Reichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16663147386014122939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190412120537448720.post-14193853635562803642011-02-01T21:20:08.794+02:002011-02-01T21:20:08.794+02:00Sounds like you're having a good time with you...Sounds like you're having a good time with your rewrite! That's the way I'm fairing, so many new good ideas are coming to add to or clean things up in my book. I'm still just planning for the rewrite, but within the next week or so I should be actually rewriting the story!

I hope your rewrite continues to go this well :)TayLyeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11397366587281676012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190412120537448720.post-15091025116671168472011-02-01T19:52:26.370+02:002011-02-01T19:52:26.370+02:00I'm glad you are loving the re-writing. I have to say it is my favourite stage, when you take the the words, sentences, paragraphs and plot of your first draft and craft it into something which does justice to your orginal idea.

200 Followers Q & A CompetitionEllie Garratthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03731071128348213067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190412120537448720.post-40079330733510429772011-02-01T18:43:45.436+02:002011-02-01T18:43:45.436+02:00I tried to do all my edits and rewrites in one mon...I tried to do all my edits and rewrites in one month.
