Others Have Said: Make. Good. Art.

Today's Others Have Said post is a bit different. Because the person doing the talking will be Neil Gaiman and far be it from me to think that I can write anything better than what he said in this speech. It's a bit long, but don't miss it.

I found it incredibly inspirational, both as a writer and as a person.

What are your thoughts?

  4. Makes me want to hang up my pen. He's a master with the English language. Now I have to go practice some writing.

  7. I love Neil Gaiman, he is one of my favourite authors, and I love this speech. It's fantastic and so inspirational, and I swear at one point I chocked up! Have you seen the cartoon someone created with the 'Make good art' bit?

  8. I do love Neil. I like King's advice ... enjoy it. We should all remember to do that wherever we're at. Like he said, there's issues while you're trying to get there & issue once you're there.
